1. Our commitment to discretion

Privacy and discretion are foundational to Suits & Ties Club. We handle personal information with care and in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, No. 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. Information we collect

• Applications and membership: your name, email address, phone number and the answers you share when applying.
• Attendance and hospitality: gatherings you attend or request, guests you bring and dietary preferences.
• Communications: messages exchanged with the team and The Host in The Lobby.
• Device information: notification tokens, if you choose to enable notifications.
• Transactions: payment records for paid experiences. Card details are handled by Paystack, a PCI DSS compliant provider, and are never stored on our servers.

3. Why we use it

We use your information to review applications, manage access to The Lobby and the Guest Lounge, coordinate gatherings, send essential service communications and process billing. Your information is never sold, rented or used commercially.

4. Photography and gathering discretion

Discretion over display. Names, conversations and personal details of other guests remain private. Where official photography takes place, guests are informed, and we do not publish identifiable photographs or conversations without consent.

5. Service providers

We work with a small number of trusted providers for payments (Paystack), secure cloud hosting, email delivery and notifications. They process information only as we direct and never for their own purposes.

6. Storage and security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information. Access is limited to authorised Club leadership and operations.

7. Your rights under POPIA

• Ask whether we hold information about you.
• Request access to, or correction of, your information.
• Withdraw consent or request deletion, subject to legal and accounting retention requirements.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
